Army Splinter Pattern Zeltbahn with
Nice Colors |
$135 |

colors. It is RB numbered, and has only one small repair. All the buttons have

German WWII Signalman's
Backpack From Vet's Family |
NEW PRICE$255 |
This is right from
the son of a US WWII vet in living in St. Clair Shores, Michigan,
just outside of Detroit. These are not encountered very often. This
one is in very nice condition. All the leather is very sound but
slightly dry. It has a nice clean and never washed or oiled look.
There is a little wear on one of the upper edges, but nothing
serious. The inside has 2 holes form a mouse, who visited once, and
made several meals of the inside flap, which does not show. All the
straps, stitching and buckles are there and solid. It still has the
one side strap, which is always missing. Overall, this is a nice
attractive example.

| 80940 |
Economy Version German WWII
Signalman's Backpack |
$115 |
This one has an
overall look of showing age and use with greasy leather, but is
complete. One of the front straps is cracked about half way
through, but is not broken and still works. The inside has a mouse
hole in one section, but otherwise is OK. This is a good example for
a display or perhaps to go with some radio equipment.

nicely on your favorite Mauser rifle.

Rifle Grenade Pouch with Strap |
SOLD$120 |
This is actually a vet brig
home pouch. Most of the ones you see available, came here as surplus
in the late 1990s. It has the hard to find wide canvas strap. The
leather is mostly solid with the only problem area a torn out spot
where the strap is attached on one side. The rest of the stitching
and leather are very solid. It is nicely marked on the back. The
belt loop is very solid to. Overall, this is a good solid example.

| 31019 |

Beautiful Brown Luger Holster WWII Bring Home |
$250 |
This is a wonderful holster. The
condition is great with very nice brown leather that is very solid as is the
stitching. The inside of the flap is ink stamped, but illegible. The take
down tool pouch closes on a period snap, which does not function any more. I
bought this from a gun dealer who bought it with a Luger from the family of the
WWII vet. I am unsure what this holster is, but it is really nice and definitely
original. If you can add some insight, I would very much like to know more.

Dated |
$185 |
The leather is in

stiff wire. It is nicely marked on the back. These early holsters
are hard to find.

display.

Very Nice German WWII Folding Shovel
with Original Cover |
$350 |
This is a very nice example of standard issue German
WWII folding shovel with 2nd pattern carrier. The
Germans came up with this design before the U.S. did, and so we
copied it. The carrier is very solid without any problems. It
has solid stitching and good loops. The shovel is maker marked, and nicely
42 dated. The handle was painted green after the war, by the
Norwegian army. The green was later remove, but a very small bit
remains. Overall, this is a very solid example.

Germen WWII
Straight Shovel with Presstoff Carrier |
SOLD$300 |
The shovel is the
standard type, with a maker 's mark on the blade. It shows age and
use with some very little bit of green paint left over after the
majority of the post war green was stripped off. It is hard to see,
and does not detract. The carrier is really nice; it has no
weak or problem areas. The inside is maker marked and 1943 dated.
Together this makes a good looking set.

| 120941 |
German WWII Shovel Set
|
SOLD$135 |
This is
a correct and typical early war set. The shovel is a WWI Russian
example. The Germans captured tons of these during the
first war, and reissued them during both wars. The carrier
is from the pre-1940
era of brown leather gear. It has some markings that I am
unable to read with a post war Finish stamp over top. The condition
is overall very good. This is a good economical way to complete your
German fieldgear display without paying $300+ for a totally German
made example.

| 90790 |
