You have always wanted one of these, and now is your chance. This is out of the woodwork in Northern Michigan. It is a later silver example with almost all of its silver finish still there. The detail is very sharp with just a bit of deterioration on the bottom of the gear. The pin is a textbook example. Both the catch and pin being original and very solid. Overall this is a very attractive piece, priced right.

This one is right out of the woodwork. It is a later example that has turned mostly grey fro age, as it is a zinc example. The detail is nice and sharp, and it features a solid pin and catch. The pin is maker marked 55 which is Nussbaum & Nussbaum Ltd, I think. In any event, it is a super 100% original, reasonably priced.

This is from the city that the Soviets put under siege, in early 1944 and did all kinds of nasty things to the females there after the city fell. Breslau was located in the East German workers' paradise, and so we do not see to many items from there. It is nice and heavy, and has great detail. Sorry, the pin has been lost to history.

This is from a WWII Vet's cookie tin of souvenirs. It was bought in Detroit back in the 1980's by an antique picker. Zell am See is very close to Berchtesgaden, and where Easy Company of the 506th 101 Airborne did occupation duty during the summer of 1945, It is a nice original piece with no problems. I am not into fire badges, but I do not think it is priced too high.
This looks to be made with original silver material. The panzer, although very nice quality is not magnetic, but the backing plate looks old and has much corrosion. The field grey backing looks original too. This is a super filler piece. I'm sure many a collector has bought one of these as an original.
