This belongs to my friend Ivan. Please contact him directly @: idpd@tit.com or (586) 752-6204 It is a great restored Kubelwagon which he has tweaked to make is just wonderful. I have ridden in it many times, and think he is crazy for selling it! He has include the following info: 1943 Kubel for sale. Original VIN plate marked 'Januar 1943' VIN #2X,XXX. Trans axle is KDF
This is an original WWII German light currier bike. It was made by DKW which was a big competitor to BMW. BMW made heavy robust bikes, while DKW made light fast ones. It is completely restored and running. The paint is correct for an early bike like this. It runs on a magneto, so it does not use a battery. Yes, it has the "suicide" shift handle (3 speed) on the gas tank, which are is really that hard to use. This is fun to have just buzzing around the neighborhood, or will look super in your collection room. It is light enough that you and your cousin Vinny can get it into the basement to display in your war room. It comes complete with a clear Michigan title. Sorry, cannot be shipped to Rio Linda, CA.
We had a no pay, so here it is again. This one was made by the famous Czech motorcycle JAWA pronounced yow-a. It was used my the Germans during WWII. It has been restored to a correct pre-war style. It is completely functional, and has had a ground up complete restoration with a clear Michigan title. It is a technology of the 1930's, in that this bike does not have a battery, but runs on a magneto. This is a classic motorcycle, but yet it fits into your WWII stuff. What could be better? Please contact me if you would like more information.
